Each year, CSAS organizes Work-in-Progress workshops, offering staff and PhD students the chance to present their recent work to colleagues engaged with South Asian studies across the college and university. You are invited to submit proposals for papers, including a title and an abstract of no more than 300 words.

For over 40 years, Professor Patricia Jeffery, Professor Emerita in Sociology, University of Edinburgh, carried out pioneering research, individually and in partnership with her colleagues. This volume brings together a range of new research that is inspired by and intersects with Professor Jeffery’s work.
