Profile

 My research, practice, and teaching are geared toward ensuring that girls and women are safe, violence-free, and economically secure. My research focuses on understanding the dimensions and causes of violence against women and children, developing, adapting and testing interventions that can prevent violence, and examining structural and economic inequalities that underlie gender inequality and violence against women and children in India.
